Ah, what a fun-packed day it was today. I’ve been working hard all week or a great variety of work and I thought I’d take it a little easier today by writing blog articles for the work blog. My idea was to spend all day on it and write enough articles to cover the next 2 weeks when I will be on holiday.
My boss had other ideas. Even though he’s currently on holiday himself and knows I’m off soon he decided now would be a good time to launch a load of new products – 50% of which I’m meant to be fulfilling. Of course no one else knows to even do it. In fact the sales team haven’t even been told what the products are nor how to sell them… But that’s a whole other matter and one I tried to combat (but failed through rebuttal of managers).
So I spent all day writing guides on how to fulfil products that no one else even knows about. The products themselves haven’t even been finalised yet and the tools for producing them aren’t even agreed one (I was using trial versions). Fun!
On the upside, holiday tomorrow!
