Fix it. Don’t Procrastinate.

latitudeIn my new job I spend time working on a laptop rather than a desktop as I need to get it out into the field and in front of clients. The position of the track pad means that I was forever moving the cursor at inopportune moments and deleting large swathes of text. I tried disabling it and as that didn’t work straight away I ignored and tried to work around the issue.

Isn’t it surprising how in this world of tech and google we live in, people still muddle on rather than just find out how to get it fixed?

One week later I got around to Googling it. 2 minutes and 1 download after that, new drivers are installed and the disable button now works. The moral of the story? Just do it.

Oh, and for those of you with a Dell Latitude E6450 laptop and the same issue, go here.
