I can’t say I agree. There are plenty of decent people on the net. I’ve met a fair few. Of course there are a lot of angry keyboard warriors as well though.

Well, to give my 2 cents, im 33 years old and i was there in the beginning of the internet. Back in those days you could actually meet decent people that would not call each other names but rather discuss with each other of various topics. Today, its a another thing. Everyone has internet. From trailer park trash in the US to the caves in Afghanistan. All the “decent” people including my RL friends left the internet a long time ago. The internet is filled today with perverts, scammers, pedophiles and teenage kids. Do yourself a favor and do real life instead.

I have to say I also prefer third person narrative. Another first person disadvantage is you can’t kill off that character, meaning you know that no matter what, they’re going to live.

I saw the dvd last night and though it was really well made, however the film could have been longer and filled in a few gaps in the story line turning it from a good to a great movie. Had they given the various character groups more background, it would have enhanced the story, for example, where did the fighter plane that shot them down come from and where did the Germans come from that found the commando’s when they parachuted into Norway? Why did Danny Dyer drop his Thompson in the end scenes and only have 2 bullets in his pistol? Did they eventually make it to safety?

still an enjoyable movie to watch. I think there is enough material to make many more good historically based movies from this era with the British involved.
